(Port) Wine of the month October 2020: Taylor Vintage Port 2018

The number of things never happened in the world of Port rises by the second. Never before did the Fladgate Partnership (Taylor, Fonseca, Croft and Krohn) fully declare one brand but the others as Single Quintas. But with the grapes of 2018 they did well:

Almost black non-transparent color. Seductive cherry, cassis and violets on the nose, chocolate and floral hints. Complex on the palate, violets, cherry and cassis. Fine tannic structure and perfectly supporting acidity. Long complex aftertaste. 7.800 cases. 18+/20
